L.A. Haunted Hayride Halloween 2011 billboard...
Let's face it, it wouldn't be Halloween without a suitably spooky billboard today, so enjoy this ad for the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride.
Daily Billboard thinks that they may have taken their inspiration from The Dark Knight's Joker for this Halloween billboard creative.

TRIO DAY: Tower Heist movie billboards...
Tower Heist is being sold as a Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy comedy, so it's nice to see those headline stars sharing these billboards with the rest of the cast.
Tower Heist is a crime comedy and a bit of the sign of the times, as it follows the exploits of a group of New York high rise employees as they plot to steal $20 million from a Wall Street businessman's penthouse apartment after losing their pensions in his fraudulent scheme.
Talk about the economy influencing filmmaking, let's hope this movie isn't a waste of money.
Daily Billboard really likes these special extension cut-outs of the movie's cast which really help it to stand out, plus the spin on the typical heist robbery terminology is fun, instead of the 'Safe-cracker', 'Explosives Expert' and 'The Getaway Driver', we get 'The Maid', 'The Concierge' and even 'The Squatter'.
The small format billboard was first spied along Santa Monica Boulevard at Beverly Glen Boulevard on October 8, whilst the special extension versions followed along L.A.'s Sunset Boulevard, 3rd Street and Fountain Avenue around October 11, 2011.
It's also appropriate that this Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy creative along Vine Street in Hollywood is right at the top of the condo complex, just like the tip of the tower.

DUO DAY: Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 1 movie billboards...
Taking a leaf from Harry Potter's book, the final installment in The Twilight Saga will be split over two films.
These billboards for Breaking Dawn Part 1 highlight the continuing love triangle between Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black, plus the perils the vampire/human couple must face for their love to survive, like marriage, pregnancy and a pack of angry werewolves.
It'll be interesting to see what's next for Kristin Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, but at least there's still one more movie still to come after this to prolong the Twilight cinematic experience.

DUO DAY: Puss in Boots 3D movie billboards...
The 'cat in the hat' is back. No, not that one, but DreamWorks 'Puss in Boots'.
Introduced in Shrek 2, the Antonio Banderas voiced fairytale feline was re-imagined as an amorous assassin and an accomplished swords fighter.
His popularity is evident, whether giving those cute kitten eyes or sweeping a damsel of her feet with his lothario ways, as after four Shrek big screen movies he's secured his own spin-off film.
Only time will tell if he'll be a box-office smash, but he does look very much the star in these fun and almost iconic billboards, which should entice animation fans and cat lovers everywhere.
The billboard which has the feathered hat special extension was snapped on the corner of Fairfax Avenue and Beverly Boulevard on October 4, whilst the other stylised black and orange version was photographed along Santa Monica Boulevard on October 8, 2011.

Enlightened TV billboards...
Daily Billboard wonders if Jurassic Park star, Laura Dern, ever pictured being this unglamorous and making such a giant spectacle of herself along L.A.'s Sunset Strip.
This unconventional visual is almost the opposite of enlightenment and tranquility, so that's why it makes for such an arresting image.
The actress plays 'Amy Jellicoe' who has a rather public meltdown at work and consequently goes away to contemplate and meditate, then returns to pick up the pieces of her life.
The standard size billboard for HBO's new show, Enlightened, was captured on October 6 and the super-sized version towering over Sunset Boulevard on October 13, 2011.

Daily Billboard loves this creative for Anonymous asking the question, was William Shakespeare was a fraud?
With the writer's back turned and identity unrevealed on the billboard, it helps to imply that maybe someone else did write the famous playwright's works, with the ink blots adding a nice touch of drama to the visual.
The larger billboards for Anonymous were photographed at Sunset & Vine opposite the Cinerama Dome, whilst the standard size ads were snapped along Santa Monica Boulevard and Melrose Avenue at the beginning of October 2011.

The Three Musketeers remake movie billboard...
With Footloose, The Thing and Conan the Barbarian remakes all landing in cinemas this year, it was only a matter of time for a new interpretation of Alexandre Dumas' classic tale, The Three Musketeers, to take to the big screen.
Let's face it the 1993, 1973 and 1948 motion pictures couldn't possibly have been enough.
Young, hot-headed D'Artagnan once again joins forces with Porthos, Aramis and Athos to foil the scheming plans of Cardinal Richelieu and Milady de Winter in 17th century France.
This billboard for the movie remake certainly catches your eye with the legendary Musketeers brandishing their swords and muskets in your direction.

My Little Pony Ponygeist parody cartoon billboard...
The My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic gang are 'baaack' for a second season on The Hub with another fantastic movie homage, this time to the classic horror Poltergeist.
Their last 'Bridlemaids' billboard parody of the movie Bridesmaids was hilarious and this ad creative for the returning cartoon show is equally witty and eye-catching.
This is 'Pinky Pie' doing her best impression of 'Carol Ann Freeling' from the iconic 1982 supernatural movie
Snapped along Cahuenga at the bottom of Barham Boulevard on October 22, 2011, this scary themed billboard is just in time for Halloween season.
