1. Body Wash Instead Of Shave Cream- We've all done it, using body wash as a replacement for shave cream. Shaving cream creates a cushion that prevents cuts, and irritation from friction.
2. Pumping Mascara- Pumping mascara just pushes air into the bottle and increases the chances of it drying out sooner.
3. Towel All Up In Your Do- Avoid putting a towel in your hair after a shower. This creates frictions and can damage the hair cuticle. Gently run a comb through your hair and let it dry naturally.
4. Fragrance All Up In Your Do- Spraying fragrance in your hair can make it go flat, and fragrance contains alcohol which can dry out your hair. Instead, dab a small amount behind your ears.
5. Magnified Tweeze- Avoid tweezing with a magnifying mirror. You might loose perspective and over-do-it.
6. Lather = Cleaner- With both shampoo and facial cleanser, a lather doesn't equal cleaner skin. This is a misconception, and solely a personal preference. Sodium laureth sulfate is the ingredient that makes products lather, and it can actually cause allergies and drying of the skin.
7. Sunscreen In Makeup- It is essential that you wear sunscreen every day and avoid relying on the SPF in your makeup products. The SPF in makeup products doesn't give proper protection.
8. Pop A Pimple- This damages the skin, and increases your chances for scarring and infections. Avoid popping a pimple at all costs.
