Germ Free Beauty Routine

Spatula- when applying foundations or creams that are in a jar, use a small plastic spatula to scoop the necessary amount out. This will prevent the germs from your hands, from entering the product and multiplying.

Sharpen and Scrape- Sharpen your eye and lip pencils before each use; it will scrape off any newly formed bacteria. If you haven't used a lipstick in a while, scrape a small amount of the top.

Avoid Heat- Keep all your makeup in a cool dark place. Avoid keeping a makeup bag in your car, as this can allow bacteria to grow very quickly.

Mascara Rule- After three months, throw it out.

Brushes- Clean your makeup brushes every few weeks with a brush cleaner.

Beauty Store- Don't play around in the makeup at a beauty store. You can use the back of your hand as a palette, and wash your hands upon leaving the store. Avoid trying any tester products on your face.
