A look that I have really embraced for Spring/Summer is the neon & bright nail trend. I generally keep my nail look simple during the Fall/Winter months with a neutral, grey, or deep red/purple color. In the summer, however, I think neon & bright colors are a simple and inexpensive way to add a pop of color to your wardrobe, and keep your look fresh.

When it comes to my nails, I simply cannot stand when they are not manicured and polished. Maybe it dates back to the days when my mom refused to allow me to wear nail polish. She insisted they would chip and look dreadful, so I had to keep them clean and nail polish free. Now that I am all grown up, chips are never allowed, and I always have nail polish on. I seem to stick with the neutral or dark (Lincoln park after dark) colors. When new, fun, polish trends emerge, however, I can help but jump on board.
