Makeup Optional Skin

Makeup optional skin is very important to women. It is important to first consider what constitues healthy and beautiful skin. Skin should be clear of blemishes and bumps. Pores should be small and barely noticeable. Tone should be clear and bright. Any redness, dryness, or capillaries should be non-existent. You should have balanced moisture levels; not too dry, not to oily. In real life, however, no one has skin without any flaws. You can get very close to having makeup optional skin, but some makeup is essential in being feminine. Even if your skin is perfect, as a woman, you simply should wear some form of makeup. There are plenty of options if makeup makes you break out, so that is no excuse. Before I get into makeup optional skin, I will first touch base on the basic makeup every women should wear.

Makeup Musts:
Women should wear some form of mascara, light powder or foundation, concealer on any spots, blush and gloss. This takes me ten minutes to apply in the morning, and it is very natural and subtle. I put more makeup when I got out at night or to an event. Even if your skin is perfectly clear, glowing, and smooth, every women can look more awake and healthy with a little mascara and blush. I choose mineral makeup, which helps my breakouts, while perfecting the look of my skin.

Exfoliation is key in addressing breakouts, scarring, and pore size. You should be exfoliating at least once a week. I personally exfoliate every other day.

Hydration is also key. I hydrate my skin through serums, moisturizers, and masks. I have a moisturizer for the morning along with a moisturizer at night. I hydrate with masks after I exfoliate at least once a week, and I wear sunscreen every single day.
