How to trim your own bangs

Most hairstylists offer free bang cuts, so take advantage of that. If you are in a pinch, here is what you can do. 1. Be sure you have scissors meant for cutting hair. Tweezerman carry great hair-cutting scissors. 2. Be sure your hair is dry; hair is slightly longer when wet. 3. Hold bangs taut between your index and middle finger, and trim in small increments. Since you are holding your bangs taut, don't go shorter than the bridge of your nose. 4. Lastly, Trim your bangs vertically (holding the scissors vertically.) This gives the bangs more texture instead of being blunt. Image Courtesy Of: EvokeSalons.com
