Spring Skincare Tips

For some of us we are just coming out of the harsh winter months. It's time to re-vamp your skincare routine, and bring forth fresh skin!!

1. Exfoliants- Try a powder exfoliant instead of harsh scrubs. Try Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant or Fix Malibu Wish Wash Exfoliating Powder.Add a few drops of water to the powder to get an excellent exfoliant that won't strip your skin.

2. Sonic Cleansing- Wiggle away the dirt and grime from winter time, with the Clarisonic cleansing system ($149-$225). If the price tag is too hefty, you can try out the Olay Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System ($30). Keep in mind, however, that the Olay version is not sonic, and thus will not clean the pores as effectively.

4. Hand Cream- Get those dry, cracked hands nice and soft for spring and summer. Try Dermalogica Multi-vitamin Hand Cream, or Yes To Carrots Intense Repair Hand cream. Applying a hand cream at night under hydrating gloves is something I personally love to do!

5. Foot Cream- Get calluses under control for summer! Try True Blue Spa Cracked Heel Treatment ($15 at Bath And Body Works). Glycolic acid whisks away dead skin, whilst the shea butter-based cream hydrates the foot.
