Every Other Nail Look

Recently, I have been playing around with my nail colors. I match two similar colors, and paint every other nail with one of the two. Basically, it's basic color blocking for the nails. Here are a few examples of me sporting this look. What do you think?

Summer Nail Trends

Shattered Nails- This shatter nail polish is all over the place this season, and I personally love it. OPI, and OPI for Sephora, both have a variety of shatter colors. Apply a thin coat over a dried nail polish color of your choice, and it will crackle giving you a fabulous look!

Color Blocking- Color blocking was a huge trend in clothing this season, but you can also achieve a color blocking look with your nail polish. A multi colored "french manicure," or every other nail combo, works well to achieve this look!

Minty Nails- This is by far my favorite look of the season. Mint colored nails have been huge this season, and the look is quite refreshing!!

Nail Decals

I love to have clean, polished nails. Generally, a simple solid color will suffice. I have recently been introduced to a new way of keeping your nails "in style." Nail decals are the newest trend to hit the market. This look isn't for everyone and my personal recommendation is to choose this look if you are under the age of thirty. Along with that, consider if these nail decals are conducive with your overall style. If you tend to dress more classy and sophisticated it won't make sense, however, if you prefer rocker chic, HAVE FUN!
