FASHION WEEK: Gap Be Bright billboards...

Between Calvin Klein's Jeans and Gap's new season ad campaign, it looks like colour is back in a big way this Spring.

These vibrant, fun and youthful billboards certainly live up to Gap's 'Be Bright' tagline.

Models Camille Rowe and Milou Sluis help bring the campaign to life with a whole host of other pretty young things.

These colourful billboards were snapped above Mel's Diner along Sunset Boulevard on February 8, plus along Melrose Avenue and Westwood Boulevard on February 16, 2012.

And that brings another stylish FASHION WEEK to a close here at Daily Billboard.

FASHION WEEK: True Religion Brand Jeans billboards...

True Religion Jeans are back this season with an eye-catching and patriotic ad campaign.

Models Brad Kroenig and Tallulah Morton wear the Stars and Stripes well in these ads which evoke easy rider rebel and bohemian chic.

Daily Billboard loves how the predominantly white creatives really sing out against that California blue sky.

The 'True American' version snapped along Sunset Boulevard on February 8 and 'The Bohemian' creative captured along Beverly Boulevard on February 17, 2012.

FASHION WEEK: Giant Juicy Couture billboard...

Daily Billboard loves the carefree and fresh Spring feel of this giant Juicy Couture billboard along L.A.'s Sunset Strip, but most of all really appreciates that the fashion brand has chosen a bold and colourful creative to fill this huge ad space.

This is such a potentially impactful location with masses of heavy commuter traffic, that it's always a shame when advertisers don't fully utilise the billboard.

Take for example this Audrina Patridge Bongo bikini ad, Happily Divorced TV show billboard and giant Christian Louboutin shoe billboard, all on white backgrounds. A burst of color is just what was needed here for ultimate stand out.

This super-sized Juicy Couture billboard was snapped along Sunset Boulevard on February 10, 2012, whilst here's also bonus standard landscape billboard for the hip fashion brand captured further east along The Strip on March 6, 2011.

FASHION WEEK: Joe's Jeans Fifty Five Colors billboards...

Daily Billboard loves the rich hues of Joe's Jeans latest billboard for its Fifty Five Colors campaign.

The new billboard, with the model sitting on the snakeskin suitcase on the train station platform, also helps explain the previous ad from the same campaign which was a bit confusing and underwhelming by comparison. Now we know the girls are in a train carriage the fashion story is far more understandable.

The train platform ad was snapped at the corner of La Cienega and Beverly Boulevards on January 28, 2012.

Meanwhile, the previous ad was snapped in the same location on December 3, 2011, plus along Hollywood Boulevard on one of the most unusual billboard sites that Daily Billboard has seen.

FASHION WEEK: Calvin Klein Jeans on the rocks billboard...

Calvin Klein returns in 2012 with a strong burst of neon colour for its Spring/Summer jeans ad campaign.

It's a refreshing change from the mono ad creatives from its CK One Box billboards from last year.

Model Lara Stone is back and this time accompanied by Toni Garrn posing provocatively on the rocks, as if they've been washed ashore.

This vibrant billboard was snapped along Sunset Boulevard near L.A.'s trendy Chateau Marmont Hotel on February 8, 2012.

DUO DAY: Mirror Mirror movie billboards...

With Mirror Mirror and Snow White and the Huntsman both coming to cinema screens this year, who will be the fairest of them all?

Daily Billboard thinks that Mirror Mirror is off to a great start with these arresting billboards which capture that fairytale feel.

Aside from Lily Collins 'Snow White' holding an enchanted red apple to convey the theme of the movie, it doesn't hurt to see Julia Roberts recognizable face, playing against type as the 'Evil Queen', to garner your attention.

It also looks like Tarsem Singh's cinematic version of Snow White will have more humor than its big screen competitor (there's even a hint of a wicked smile on Julia Roberts lips), which will make it easier for cinema goers to justify going to watch similar Brothers Grimm themed films.

The standard landscape billboard was snapped along Fairfax Avenue at Oakwood Avenue on February 8, whilst the super-sized version was captured along L.A.'s Sunset Strip on February 10, 2012.

GCB series premiere TV billboards...

Daily Billboard has to admit that when we first spied this billboard we thought it looked more like an ad for a strip club, rather than for a new ABC comedy drama (maybe it was the hot bubble gum pink or Kristin Chenoweth's bare legs that gave that impression).

In fact it's actually the series premiere billboard for GCB, based on the book Good Christian Bitches by Kim Gatlin.

Daily Billboard loves the bedazzled show logo which really catches your eye, gleaming in gold and silver. It also has a nice glittery movement to it that helps with the effect.

It's especially clever how they've included the white sparkles on the artwork in case the sun isn't catching the shiny logo enough.

In addition to the enhanced version, there's also a regular unadorned logo creative, which still stands out with that vibrant background colour.

After her marriage ends in scandal a former high school 'mean girl' is forced to return to Dallas to face her mother and the women of her past.

They say payback is a bitch and it looks like these Good Christian Bitches (or Belles) are ready to give as good as they got, including Kristin Chenoweth's character who was bullied by her when she was younger and still holds a grudge.

Jessica Simpson Zales diamond bathtub billboard...

They say diamonds are a girl's best friend, and it seems that Jessica Simpson simply can't get enough of them with her bathtub filled to the brim with the sparkling precious stones.

The ad for the Jessica Simpson Collection at Zales jewelers is certainly an attention grabber.

This bedazzling billboard was snapped at the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and La Cienega Boulevard in West Hollywood on January 30, 2012.

MOVIE WEEK: Quantum of Solace 007 billboards...

With James Bond's next outing, Skyfall, currently in production Daily Billboard thought fans of the British Secret Service Agent would enjoy this blast from the past from 007's last cinematic outing.

In the 22nd James Bond movie the threat wasn't a deadly orbiting satellite, imminent nuclear destruction or even a deadly virus, but shock horror, control of the Earth's water supply. Simply diabolical.

These cool Quantum of Solace billboards featuring Daniel Craig and Olga Kurylenko were snapped along Sunset Boulevard and Melrose Avenue in October and November 2008.

MOVIE WEEK: This Means War billboards...

The battle for Valentine's Day box office is on. Make war, not love.

Will it be the romantic drama drama The Vow or will cinema goers opt for a more fun spy-themed comedy like This Means War.

In the action comedy two CIA hotties, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy, vie for Reese Witherspoon's affections.

Daily Billboard loves the cool James Bond-esque vibe of this creative, and thinks it stands out so much more in black and white with a splash of red, rather than if it was in full colour. Although it obviously helps to have three very attractive stars to turn heads as well.

There's also something about this ad creative that really reminds Daily Billboard of the Morning Glory movie billboard from October 2010, maybe it's just that they are both in mono with three actors in a similar position.
